Watch Fall 2024 Commencement Livestream

Hello,

It is the final week of the fall semester here at Metropolitan State University of Denver — classes are finished, faculty members are finalizing grades, and staff members are finishing their last tasks of the year before the University closes for winter break.

While things around here are quiet without the bustle and energy that 17,000 students bring to campus, we’re also in celebration mode after two wonderful Commencement ceremonies last week.

More than 1,300 MSU Denver students graduated Friday, ranging in age from 20 to 61, and a remarkable 52% were the first in their families to earn a college degree. It is always an honor to share the stage with such accomplished Roadrunners and a joy to watch their friends and families cheer them on.

As we wrap up 2022 and look forward to a new year, I want to wish you a joyous holiday season from all of us at MSU Denver. Check out our annual holiday video below for a special greeting

Sincerely,

Janine Davidson, Ph.D.
President, MSU Denver
